Two premieres on Nintendo Switch: Captain Toad and Octopah Traveler

Friday the thirteenth is a good day for the owners Nintendo Switch . Today, two games are debuting on the market, which are really worth attention – Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker and Octopah Traveler.

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is a three-dimensional platformer, which debuted even during the times of Wii U, but now it has slightly beautified and has been adapted to the “switch” standards. The title character can be associated with the Mario series, and the gameplay itself is not too different from what we were used to playing with a nice mustache in the main role.

The first reviews show that the old formula once again proved itself. The gameplay is pleasant, the levels are well thought out and the audiovisual setting is at a very high level. The average rating at the level of 8.1 / 10 is a sign that for lovers of the genre it is an obligatory item. In the meantime, take a look at the trailer:

Octopah Traveler

The second today’s premiere is completely new and not just any. Octopah Traveler is one of the hottest titles of the summer at Nintendo Switch. It is a turn-based jRPG with 2.5D frame, which the creators drew from Chrono Trigger or Final Fantasy. The emphasis is on the plot, exploration of the world and fight.

It is the combat mechanics (next to the wonderful visual setting) that is the most frequently mentioned plus in Octopah Traveler reviews. The editors draw attention to how well the creators “borrowed” the best features of the classics and combined them with their idea. Thanks to this, the average rating is 8,4 / 10.
