AsApple reports another production in its TV series catalog. This time, the company has placed an order for a drama series on investigative reporter Hilde Lysiak. We do not accompany a young woman at work, but a child journalist who publishes a newspaper called Orange Street News.
A mysterious murder
Apple is said to have ordered 10 episodes of a new series, in which the audience accompany a young girl that moves from Brooklyn to a small town on the lake. There, her insistence on the truth leads her to uncover an unresolved case that everyone in town, including her own father, was trying to hide.
The series is inspired by the true story of Hilde Lysiak and her career as a reporter, which she began at the age of nine, when she uncovered a murder in her hometown Selinsgrove and spread the news in a self-published newspaper. The new series is created and produced by Dana Fox and Dara Resnik. Jon M. Chu will direct and direct the production.
Apple continues to order numerous series for its original content efforts. It is striking how versatile Apple this project is concerned. From, about – and -Series, to elaborate Series, everything is going to be there. It gives the impression that Apple first reaches out to find out what is important to its audience. We could already have the first productions get to see. At least, this industry experts suspect.
