Apple today released an updated beta for the upcoming watchOS 5 update. After a first version of the beta had initially caused problems on some devices, the bugs in this updated version should now be resolved. Furthermore, Apple released the beta 2 of iOS 11.4.1, tvOS 10.4.1 and macOS 10.13.6 for registered developers.
A new beta round
After just a few days Apple had to withdraw the beta 1 of watchOS 5, as some users had problems with the update process. In the installation process, the Apple Watch crashed with those affected. Only a repair at Apple could revive the Apple Watch from the technology trauma. The re-release of the developer beta will no longer have this problem.
A beta rarely comes alone and so Apple sends the beta 2 of iOS 11.4.1, tvOS 10.4.1 and macOS 10.13.6 on the road. Registered developers can now download the new beta versions. Already in the first Betas lacked obvious innovations and so Apple will focus on performance improvements in the second round and fix minor problems.
