Apple Originals: J.J. Abrams and Sara Bareilles produce new series for Apple

We will not be able to complain about too few Apple series in the future. Once again reported Variety from a new TV series that originated under the banner of Apple. No one cares less than J.J. Abrams around the new Dramedy called “Little Voices”.

A musical journey into the 20s

The series is described as a love letter to the diverse musicality of New York. The journey goes into the early 20’s, where we accompany the lives of different characters.

The series is produced by Abrams’ Bad Robot Productions in collaboration with Warner Bros.. Beside Abrams also Sara Bareilles is mentioned as a producer. Bareilles celebrated with her song “Love Song” 2007 in the music scene great successes. Since then, she has received six Grammy nominations and released several chart-top albums and singles. That the music in the series is not too short, also shows the commitment of Jessie Nelson, who will stage the first episode and act as a show runner. Nelson worked with Bareilles on the award-winning musical “Waitress”.

Bad Robots current program includes “Westworld” for HBO and also the upcoming Stephen King inspired drama “Castle Rock” for Hulu. Abrams was also co-author, producer and director of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” and will also co-author, produce and direct on the upcoming “Star Wars: Episode IX”.
