The search engine supported by Microsoft “Bing” will join other online giants who are struggling with cryptocurrencies

According to the statement, the main reason for the company’s decision to ban “cryptocurrencies” and “products related to cryptocurrencies” is the current unregulated status of cryptocurrencies, which allegedly increases the risk for Bing users:

“Because cryptocurrency and related products are not regulated, we have found that they pose a potential increased risk to our users.”

According to the report, the Bing Ads tool plans to fully implement the ban around the world from June to the beginning of July.

Bing is the latest search engine and boycott in social media, initiated by Facebook at the end of January this year. Google announced a similar ban on advertising in the middle of March, and soon after it confirmed its own prohibition.

Last week, many major media reported that Facebook was working on launching its own cryptocurrency.
