We wrote about the processor yesterdayand therefore the first representative of the 10-nm Cannon Lake models. As it turns out, the plans of the manufacturer are next models from the new generation.
The 3DMark database has entries from the Intel Core m3-8114Y model, which belongs to the Cannon Lake-Y series. The system will therefore be used in the most compact laptops.
The 3DMark database also reveals a partial processor specification – it has been equipped with 2 cores / 4 threads with 1.5 GHz base timing (frequency in Turbo mode is not known yet), LPDDR4 memory controller, as well as integrated UHD Graphics. All this (most likely) with a TDP of 4.5 W.
It promises to be quite good, because the 14-nm Core m3-7Y30 and m3-7Y32 “Lake-Yaeys” cycles were clocked at 1.0 or 1.1 GHz (in Turbo mode they reached 2.6 and 3.0 GHz respectively).
