Google has prepared a very interesting promotion to change the name of the Android Pay service on Google Pay. For anyone who installs an application for contactless payments on their smartphone and uses it to pay a total of five transactions, on five different days, a surprise awaits. It is PLN 40 for the purchase of games, applications and other content in the Google Play store. The functionality of Google Pay will be significantly expanded in the near future, and new payments will also appear outside the dedicated mobile application, including in the Chrome browser and the likes of iTaxi and Airbnb. Google Pay is supposed to compete with PayPal and become a viable alternative to regulating online payments.
“Simple, quick payments, easy access to prizes and offers, one place for shopping, vouchers and all payment cards. At Google, we’ve worked to make sure that people around the world can make all transactions safer and easier. you can take full advantage of these new opportunities in the Google Pay Android app ” – we read in the Google Polska statement.
The Google Pay app allows you to make mobile payments through smartphones equipped with an NFC connectivity module. The smartphone just needs to be approached to the payment terminal in a similar way as the payment card is approaching. This method is generally considered safer and more convenient than paying by card. Currently, 11 banks cooperate with Google Pay in Poland.
