Embedded World 2018 is one of the most important trade fairs dedicated to industrial electronics. The company also appeared at the party, which pre-premiere presented motherboards with new Q370, H370 and H310 chipsets.
At the beginning it is worth emphasizing that the presented boards are constructions designed for industrial computers, so their functionality is different from the consumer versions (not to mention design).
Three new models could be seen at the ASRock stand: IMB-1211 and IMB-1213 in the mini-ITX format and IMB-1311 in the mATX format. LGA 1151 stand, DIMM / SO-DIMM DDR4 memory banks as well as PCI / PCI-Express connectors were on board. SATA, mini-PCIe and M.2 sockets are designated for disks.
The manufacturer also confirmed that the new generation of Xeon processors will require C chipset – it will not be possible to mount them on standard B, H, Q or Z series discs (similarly as in the case of).
So it looks like boards with new chipsets are getting closer and closer. What about consumer models? It is true that the manufacturer officially did not approve of such constructions, butindicate that these should also debut on the market soon.
