There are more laptops with Intel’s 8th generation processors on the market. The manufacturer of one of the most beautiful ultraportable devices – ASUS – boasted with its latest model.
ASUS presented its latest laptop using Intel’s 8th generation processors and the optional Nvidia graphics chip – Asus VivoBook 14 X411. Efficient devices from their predecessors are characterized by better battery life, which is of great importance in the case of ultraportable laptops. Asus VivoBook 14 X411 is a notebook equipped with a NanoEdge screen with a 14-inch diagonal and a resolution of 1366×768 pixels or 1920×1080 pixels. Inside, we find a full range of new Intel processors from an energy-saving line – Core i3-7100U, Core i5-8250U and Core i7-8550U. Together with them, the user can use up to 16 GB of RAM, as well as an integrated graphics chip Intel HD620 / UHD620 and an optional, more efficient graphics card Nvidia GeForce MX 150 with 2 GB of GDDR5 memory.
Depending on individual preferences, the user can store his data on magnetic media (HDD) with a capacity of 500 GB / 1 TB or on board fast SSDs with an M.2 interface with a capacity of 128 to 512 GB. The optional backlit keyboard has the option of using the laptop. The laptop offers a memory card reader, a VGA webcam, Wi-Fi 802.11ac modules, Bluetooth 4.1 and USB Type C connectors, USB 3.0 Type A, two USB 2.0 ports, a combo jack and an HDMI output.
Attention is paid to the 42 Wh battery, which can be recharged up to 60% in just about 50 minutes.
The dimensions of the laptop are 326.4 x 225.5 x 20.4 mm. The weight does not exceed 1.35 kg.
