The current 10.5-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro came on the market in June 2017. The displays of the devices were praised for their ProMotion display technology. The iPad Pro’s Retina Display features ProMotion, a new technology that delivers refresh rates of up to 120Hz for smooth scrolling, responsiveness, and smoother movement. With ProMotion, Apple Pencil is even more responsive, with the industry’s best 20 milliseconds latency for smoother and more natural drawing. In addition, ProMotion improves display quality and reduces power consumption by automatically adjusting the screen refresh rate to match the movement of the content.

In addition, the 10.5-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro offer a resolution of 2224 x 1168 and 2732 x 2048 pixels, a pixel density of 264ppi. TrueTone (white balance adjustment) and a large color space (P3) are also on board.

The iPhone X has also received the Display of the Year Award. In particular, the edge-to-edge design and the abandonment of a home button were praised. The iPhone X has an OLED display with support for HDR and True Tone. The display resolution is 2436 x 1125 pixels at 458 ppi.
