AOC presents a portable 15.6-inch monitor under USB-C

AOC presented a portable monitor that uses USB type C connectors . I1601FWUX is a mobility-oriented construction that can be taken to a backpack, briefcase or medium-sized handbag.

The new model was equipped with an IPS matrix with a diagonal of 15.6 inches and a resolution of 1920 x 1080 px (Full HD). The screen used, however, offers basic parameters – viewing angles of 160 degrees, the backlight is 220 cd / m 2 and the contrast is 700: 1. The monitor is very light – it weighs 824g – and its panel is only 8.5mm thick.

For convenience of use, a cover is included in the set that protects against scratches during transport, which is also a stand that allows you to set the monitor in a vertical or horizontal position. Additionally, the monitor recognizes the orientation in which it is arranged and automatically rotates the image displayed on it (Auto-Pivot can be turned off).

Video transmission along with the device’s power supply is carried out by the increasingly popular USB type C connector using the DisplayPort protocol. The monitor is therefore compatible with new Mac devices using the third generation Thunderbolt connector. The energy consumption of the monitor is 8 W, so it will not be too drained by the batteries of mobile devices.
