Mushkin launches the SSD Pilot M.2 NVMe series

Presentation of NVMe SSD series from Mushkin was held in January this year at CES 2018. Inside the device is a Silicon Motion SM2262 controller with NAND 3D TLC memories. The disk is built in the popular M.2-2280 format, supports the PCI-Express 3.0 x4 interface and uses the NVMe protocol version 1.3.

Available capacities are:

  • 120 GB, where the sequential reading / writing is 1215 MB / s / 515 MB / s, respectively, and the number of input / output operations is 91,000 IOPS 4K at random read and 133,000 IOPS 4K at random recording;
  • 250 GB (2470 MB / s / 1000 MB / s, 179 000 / 257,000 IOPS);
  • 500 GB (2680 MB / s / 1755 MB / s, 335,000 / 277,000 IOPS);
  • 1000 GB (2710 MB / s / 1755 MB / s, 283 000/280 000 IOPS).

Offered discs are covered by a three-year warranty. No prices are known at the moment.
