Roy Taylor leaves AMD Studios

Surprising news from the camp AMD . After five years of cooperation, Roy Taylor, the head of AMD Studios in Hollywood, leaves the ranks of the producer.

Roy Taylor joined the “Red” team at the beginning of 2013. In the meantime, he held several positions, but eventually took the position of Corporate Vice President, Media and Entertainment at AMD Studios. The unit dealt with providing comprehensive data processing solutions that enabled the students to work more effectively on multimedia and entertainment.

For now, no one knows why Taylor decided to leave the company. The producer did not reveal too many details about the decision, he only commented on it in the following words – “We thank Roy for his contribution to the development of AMD and we wish him all the best in future endeavors” . It is known, however, that AMD plans to reorganize the unit to further enhance cooperation between product, engineering and support teams.

It is worth noting that these are not the only ones that have recently appeared in the ranks of AMD. At the end of last year to Intel Raja Koduri passed and in its place two new specialists were hired – Mike Rayfield and David Wang .
