Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro officially! Check if you buy them

Xiaomi presented the successors of the most popular smartphone models in its offer. The new Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro have 18: 9 displays and some interesting features that should be enough to achieve global success.

Xiaomi presented its latest smartphones Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro, with the second model looks much, much better. Both devices are equipped with 5.99-inch IPS screens with a resolution of 1080×2160 pixels, displaying an image with an aspect ratio of 18: 9 (where the Pro display has a better contrast) and this seems to be the most important of the new. Despite the lack of revolutionary changes, smartphones seem to be doomed to success.

Redmi Note 5 is a smaller model, which apart from the new screen can not boast of anything extraordinary. It’s well-known for its well-known Snapdragon 625 and 3/4 GB of RAM. The data user receives 32 or 64 GB of memory and the option of increasing it through the Micro SD memory card slot. The NFC module does not, like the rest, like LTE B20 (800 MHz) communication – at least for now. Redmi Note 5 also does not have a Type C USB port, only a regular micro USB port. The smartphone has the same specification as Redmi 5 Plus, which is sold in Poland.

Much more interesting of the two presented smartphones is the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro. Its performance is ensured by the more efficient Snapdragon 636 and 4 or 6 GB of RAM. The smartphone can boast of the presence of a double main webcam, which hosts a cheaper series of Redmi devices for the first time. Like the cheaper model, the Redmi Note 5 Pro is NFC-free, does not offer LTE B20 connectivity yet and does not have a USB Type C connector.
